120 70 front tyre pressure on 3tj

Post by fastgleads »

Hi all . I'm thinking of changing to a 120 70 front tyre and was wondering what pressure you guys were running. Also did any of you lower the front end to compensate for the taller profile. If so how much
Thanks

Go by the manufacturers recommendation - it should be on their website.

Good point but no I left my forks standard ... doubt you'll feel much difference though, the standard forks are a bit soft.

I noticed that when changing to a 120/70 from a 120/60 that the bike no longer turns in as quick and it won't hold as tight a line through a corner. I have a maxton fettled sp front end. I'm going to change the geometry to try and get the previous characteristics back.

Sounds like a plan.
A rule of thumb on a track based tyre pressure is 30 for a supercorsa.
