Your talking about a genuine 3TJ style SP ???
The normal 3TJ light should fit it. I'm not sure how the light mounts though, the 3TJ has it on the subframe which I assume is the same for the SP. You might have to mount it straight onto the bodywork though.

You can use the 3tj rear lights they have four bolts to hold them on the fairing... it is the small bit of fairing that is attached to the subframe..... :D

You might be better getting aftermarket LED's tail lights if it is a one piece race copy tail section you are getting. The LED units will be a lot lighter, less bulky and easier to attach to the fibreglass tail section than a light from a different model FZR.
A lot of the LED light units are very thin and can be attached with a couple of bolts or even double sided tape. You don't have to drill huge holes which will weaken the fibreglass tail section.
Try Busters, B+C Express, M&P,etc to see what styles of light are on the market at the moment
I only please one person per day.
Today is not your day, tomorrow isn't looking good either.

a TJ tail unit on a 3en2 .... not sure if it will fit very easily due to the shape of the TJ's frame.

Or do you mean the 400R SP or 2TK model ???
