Re: Preload adjusters
those annodised aluminimum things? I had some fitted to one set of forks I bought but slung em, never adjust the preload once ive got the bike setup as i dont track it only have it for road use.
do you do a lot of preload fiddling? If not probably best spend the money on fuel :)
if you are wanting to fiddle then not sure which ones are "best" im afraid

Re: Preload adjusters

a 14 (could be 17mm) spanner works fine too, theres one in the toolkit if you have it.. if not any normal spanner can be used. (cheaper too)Sunnyday wrote:The idea was to use them to set the bike up not to fiddle with them everytime i go out.
sometimes they can corrode to the fork top too which isnt ideal
unless your constantly adjusting them for different tracks and what not id just use a normal spanner.
saves some pikey turning them around when your not there too

Thanks very much - I will be printing this off and try and get a base line.
Its been 9 years since the bike has been used regularly its took a lot of work over the last 6 months getting it out of storage and road ready again.
cheers.
