CB400 NC31 Parts sourcing
I am new to the forum so hi to everyone here :)
I am a bit of a sucker for a project and have just bought myself a 1993 NC31 that needs....a little work
Looking around for parts is seems its difficult to find bits for this bike so wondered where you guys source parts from? and also which other bikes share the same parts? A colleague of mine rides a CBR600 and the switch gear and front brake reservoir seem to be the same (both of which I need), I also need clocks, headlight, indicators....the list goes on so if bits are the same on other hondas maybe they will be easier to source :)
I will post some pictures shortly!

Thats a good point :)
At the moment I know I need...
Headlight
Headlight bracket/frame
clocks
front and rear indicators
Left and right switch gear
Seat or new seat cover
Handlebars
Thats it for now but I am sure that list will grow

Handlebars are just standard 22mm,
You can get new clocks from Ebay (Search NC31 Clocks).
Seat you can just take to an upholstere and have redone in Vynil, if your good you can do it yourself.
Throttle housing from any CBR will fit as well as switch gerr. You just need to do some wiring and soldering to make it work, as for LHS switches possibly the same will work.
Headlight and Brackets I am not sure where you would get those from, maybe look at streetfighter forums for sources.
Hopefully this helps to get you in the right direction.

Problem I am finding with handlebars is what is the correct shape? There is a set on Ebay that says its genuine honda, but it looks too straight to be the genuine ones.

I replaced the headlight on mine with one from eBay.
Brand new universal light with a H4 build like the original one, £30 and it does the job

Re: CB400 NC31 Parts sourcing
Bars are a personal preference. I run Renthel low risers on mine and find them comfortable. TBH any higher rise then I doubt the throttle and switch gear cables would fit.
A bit of searching with part numbers is always good, with a bit of cross referencing you'll find a lot of cbr600 parts fit.
David Silver and Wemoto keep good stock of spares.

Re: CB400 NC31 Parts sourcing
Could someone say any suggestions of where we can search for OEM or Aftermarket parts that match the NC31 ;
I can't find anything in Google.
