NC29 Carb related question

Post by mattiec321 »

Guys.

ive just put my carbs back together after a deep clean in the bath.

My question is that my trumpets are all one level. I'm sure that before the strip down the middle two sat higher.

Its like a rubiks cube, ive stripped and replaced and looked and cant figure out if ive imagined the higher two or not.

Answers on a postcard please.

Old nc29 models have different level trumpets
Better run same size like post 94, but no problem with it.

Does the trumpet lengths actually play a big role in performance?

yes...the carb trumpets on my old 29 running HRC ram air were tiny much shorter than the 'short' trumpets on the newest model.
