Cbr 600 rr swingarm on cbr 400 nc29

Has anyone done this conversion as im hoping to do it on mine does anyone know whats involved any info would be great thanks

I was interested in this mod until I realised that the 600rr swingarm was about 3 inches longer than the nc29 one.
The swingarm that I have is from a later model so maybe the earlier ones were shorter.
Can anybody shed some light on this?

Im not sure tbh i was using a 2003 swingarm ive been in contact with parus and there is a bit of work to make them fit both on the swingarm and the linkage ive also spoke to an engineer whos goin to give me a price for the complete job just waiting to hear back

Interesting, how long is your 2003 swingarm from the pivot centre to the end?
Mine is a 2008 one which is 610mm long.
My NC29 swingarm measures 540mm.

I havent purchased the swingarm as yet i do know that the 07 shock is different from the earlier ones so i would imagine the swingarm will be different aswell as soon as hear back from the engineer il be ordering 1 im sure ive got the length in the diagrams parus sent me will check and get back to you

Just had a quick look on google and the swingarm length changed on 06 07 model year mate

Ha ha i dont think the extra length would make muxh of a difference tbh but they also redesigned the frame in 05 so im sticking with the pre 05 stuff as thats what ive got the diagrams of the mods for
