Cut Out Issue
Gday Ladies, Gents, Men, Women and all other species!
So I was travelling to work this morning, and after 3 km's Bike died, splutter splutter, like a dead plug, and then dead. I warmed her up before leaving home and she was going nice and clean for the first bit...
so I'm rolling, and I try and jump start, revs shoot up, and dead, 3 times.
Sit for two minutes trying to get her started, and on the 4th try, there she goes, nice & clean.
Now, just a quick one, previous owner took the fuel pump off, and I believe this bike needs a fuel pump, '91 NC29
So now its gravity fed. Could this be the reason? The other 22km's to work she went perfect that's what boggles me.
Anyone maybe experience a similar issue?
Cheers

Re: Cut Out Issue
You really need the fuel pump, especially when the fuel gets low as the bottom of the tank is lower than the carbs.
You may also have a bloked tank breather , try opening the tank if it happens again in case theres a vacuum build up inside
