Practical Sportsbikes Trackday Cadwell Park 2014
Right I know it's early but there's nothing like being prepared lol
After chatting to Tony last weekend and hearing about his conversation with ReverseCylinderJim I thought they had a cracking idea.
As those that went last year will know there were some well organised displays from other forums in what I guess was the pits areas. While we all stayed on the campsite as a group. As you also know I'm now the proud owner of a bloody great bike gazeebo.
So Jim and Tony were thinking it would be a good idea for us as a forum to have a more official presence this year with a collection of nice bikes on display for people to come along and chat to us about. If we could get a couple of 400GreyBike.co.uk banners made it's look the part too.
I reckon we have one of the best group forums going and it would be great to promote that.

Sounds a great idea. I'd like to make a weekend of it this year, rather than a fleeting visit.

Great idea mate.
Am sure we can put something to Darin/ROb at Classic bikes TD to see how they like it. Agree that we need a large campover and TD presence. I'm going to be off the beer (sort of) this time so I can make both days. Might even bring the lady wife (or get her to visit at least) so she can finally understand what a bunch of upstanding bike geeks you lot are!

It would be nice if we could get a good cross section of really nice 400's to display.
I'm definitely riding on both days this year. It was painful watching everyone riding and not being able to get out there and ride.
I've said it before but that was without doubt the highlight of the year bike wise.

Yes, really good ideas and I hope to do both days too with 2 bikes with a bit of luck. Last year's Friday evening meeting caused our camp to be very fragmented which was a tad unfortunate. Think we could do with getting there earlier & we will be better prepared!
Regarding the banner, can we get 3 more made so that it will be visible from all 4 sides of the awning?
My other ride is another 400, Woohoo!... Doh

Said loads of times before but ill definatly be there even if it means missing a race weekend. I think they might have to have a seperate 400cc group looking at how many of us are keen to go! Looking forward to it allready and its a whole 8odd months away lol.

i really enjoyed it last year and will be going again. Not sure if i would bother taking my nice 400, and i had loads of fun on the AR anyway.
See if they would organise a 400gb only day, now that would be awesome
