Hi all

I need a set of crankcases bored for my +1mm pistons in the new engine im building
Does anyone know of any companies that are able to do the job properly + straight apart from tts?

Isnt there any engineering shops locally that can do it, maybe worth a look in yellow pages.

I could get it done no problem if the barrels were separate to the upper crank case half but cant as they are all 1 piece

Can't help with the boring recommendation, but where'd you find 1mm over pistons???

Dynapro in Runcorn have the contacts (if not the ability)

The dude is called Chris Neild (was on ere once? - few guys have used him as he has made some fast motors in his time)

The pistons are omegas, got them off liam, they are the same as the ones chris had

David doesnt bore he gets them done if he needs to, I worked with david for a couple of years + we done the camchain cbr400 together

Ive been given a possible contact in oxford so ill try them

Ahh..did not realise the cbr400 was with you :)

It has given us many a headache + many hours work, ill have a camchain v4 running at some point this season to test + see how it goes, if it goes well it will be run with my +1mm's too so fingers crossed we should see some pretty good power

I thought cam chains were a step backwards? Isnt that why aprilia had there gear cam banned?
