We all know the crack with 17" rear wheels for NC's and in my opinion we only have ourselfs to blame for the sharp rise in prices and i even admit myself for jumping on the bandwagon and cashing in but come on £750 for a used rear dymag

Compared to new price thats not bad in real terms, but that is wrong size for RVF anyway, will need adaptor plate as should be 5.25" not 5.5".
But i may be biased to ignore me, lol.

Even if that wheel had been crack checked (with proof) and refinished thats still a mighty bad pill to swallow regardless of the price new and weather or not its available anymore.

I prefer the look of the original wheels anyway.

It is more a racing thing, need wider rim for tyre to sit right if using a 160 rear, on road is just for show really, do like 5 spoke Dymag but must admit stock wheels in the right bike do look better.

Silly money indeed...I really don't mind to fit an 18inch off an NC30 on my RVF's if I can get that sort of money for the genuine 17's

Yes its absolutely ridiculous price, no there wouldnt need spacers etc to run 5.5 as myself + bean on here both run 5.5s without problems on our race bikes
You say its not bad considering the new price well the key here is that its not new + also considering that a pair of carbon dymags are £1900 at the mo + yes that does include the rear to fit an nc
the rear on its own is £900 + vat in carbon so £1080 so people consider £750 or even '£1100' to be fair for a used rear mag amaze me
some fool will probably pay it though
my pair of pvm's were £1000 freshly tested + coated, bean on here also bought a pair of marvic pentas for a shade over £500, ok rs250 wheels but yes £750 for 1 rear is ludicrous
