newbie help gear linkage
Hello people I'm new to the forum just got myself a cbr 400 nc29 cheap planning on tidying her up over winter and having and good summer.
Any way I need help with the gear linkage at the minute its got an after market one and its setup for race shift as in 1st is up and rest of gears down how do I change it to a normal shift pattern I've had a play but cant figure it out
Thanks for the help in advance

Re: newbie help gear linkage
Hi,
You turn one of the ends of the linkage up the other way so its pulling rather than pushing. ie going anticlockwise rather than clockwise when you try and change gear. or vice versa.
Hopefully that makes some sort of sense!

Re: newbie help gear linkage
As said it should just be a case of flipping the linkage on the selector shaft over but take a pic of it and post it up if that doesnt work so we can see what its like.
