spark/electrical prob or fuel prob

Post by badger4543 »

So previously I posted about my nc30 have a fuel problem. Thought I cured it. Then this morning on the way to work I copped aanother issue. At around 5-6k big bogging and crackles from the exhaust I thought it might be electrical as the tachometer does weird jumping and diving action when it happens as the previously it would still rev out just have a flat spot. Any ideas?

The tach usually takes a signal from the coil feed so if you're losing that it might be the ignition pick up that's iffy.

Ignition pick up? Plz explain lol. As in like that stator? Or just a plug off the ignition some where. It's like over a certain rev the ignition gets cut.

Hi, is your speedo working? Could be going into limp mode?
