Derestrictor Mod?

Post by mattiec321 »

Hi Chaps.

I'm going to de restrict my NC29 by using the advice given on the documents pages on this forum.

However Im wondering if you put the resistor at both the clocks and the CDI? and I take it the resistor is a 2KOhm bog standars resistor.

Also what is the difference between the race derestriction and the road one?

Thanks

Matt

Think its just that the race derestriction is at the cdi end as clocks are usually removed for racing,
Just fitting a kph to mph blue convertor has the same result and kills two birds with one stone 8-)

the resistor dose NOT de-restrict ANYTHING.

it ONLY by-passes the 112mph Speed limiter, it has no affect on the RPMs or lets you rev further in the red zone than before.
Its a mod for any bike road or race * one thats a must if you remove the clocks for aftermarket ones or completely for racing.
