RVF 400 Tach install

Post by Blackrabbit »

Hi Guys,

I have a NC35 track bike and need to install the tacho. Can some please tell me what connection is for what on the rear of the instrument cluster? (Doesn't have the OEM connectors)

I only want the tacho going as the rest of the instruments are now digital. Also can I run the pick up wire straight from an HT lead or does it need to connect to the CDI? On that note, It runs an Ignitec CDI and the loom doesn't appear to be stock so if so what wire am I looking for at the CDI connection?

I assume this topic has been covered a number of times but have been unable to find any reference.

Cheers
