The oem code of the cdi is 30410-MY9-751.It is the same part for version r fiiis, version s fiiT,version s fiiiV. Be carefull do not buy a cdi from older models (pb1),because i have heared that your tps will not function.Possibly and other things.
This cdi have that oem part you can ask him:

thanks for your help! my current CDI is leaking resin/gum after years of usage and im afraid that the problem may come back if i buy a used CDI because the resin/gum used to seal the CDI has a shelf life...

do your local dealers still stock new OEM ones?

it seems like every single honda dealer in my area is telling me that i cant get a new unit anymore...

I am sorry,i have gave you that link because cdi is very expensive part!!!!
And also too rare part and not in stock. Talking about cdi,it is too rare to find that code as used part also. You may find from pb1 but nothing from vesion r/s.
I have searched for new oem at cmsnl,Ron Ayers,David Silber and all of them says that this part is no longer available.
But also I have found this moto store in Athens:
http://www.motopissaris.gr/full_product ... 0410MY9751
On his side says, that after your order,he can bring that part to Greece (i don't know for England)in about 15 days i think from Japan.
I have try to call him but he is closed until 2 September for hardware inventory and summer vocations.
I have never purchase part from him but for that seller i have heard the best, from cb400superfour members.
I do not know if the seller is informed as large Europe sites, but nevertheless you can make an attempt. But first of all confirm that he will order the code 30410-MY9-751.
I hope i help.
