the thing is you need to apply lots of weight to the back of your bike to get it to seesaw . and my rc51 is sporting a carbon tale unit.. so i will not be pushing down on that ! ...... the back wheel is free running so thats not of any help to me... i do not have rear foot pegs ... and exhaust really ... not the answer ....

what i did to over come it was lift the front of the bike and fit a house brick under the front wheel ... then fit the abba strap to the back of the bike ... then kick the brick out ...


this is not what i was looking for in a stand ...


i believe i could over come this by using a ratchet strap? but if this is the case then why the actual fuck did abba not send one with this kit ? ...



when fitted its good there is good stability ..




you can adjust the front wheel hight .. to allow you to remove the front end ...



or just set at a hight of 50/50 and use as per normal ...






so after e-mailing abba they .... have agreed to this and they say it will not fail or void my warranty ..... they have refunded me £10 to purchase a ratchet strap.... thats me happy with the item now and i will and can recommend..... the abba front wheel lift...thanks for looking.......

Very nice, how did you blank off the flapper valve? I think I read a fancy grommet is available now?

How do you find the 2CT tyres in the rain? Do you feel it needs a slipper clutch?

I take it the AFR was measured on the dyno or do you have a loggable wideband fitted?

Love the R&G hangers, bit pricey at £90 though.

i got a TCC kit from the states for the flapper ... you can use a grommet tho ...

as for the tyres ....i have not been out on them yet i have been running around on my 30 as the sp is blocked in the garage by all the rest of my shit

the R&G hangers are way over priced i am on the look out for a set of harris ones then i will be getting rid of the R&G ones....

afr was set when i had the map done ... thats why i did the smog mod as it stops the air from being pumped into the exhaust valves... which would lead to a false reading when you measure exhaust gas...

so do you also have a sp ? sounds like you have a sp1 ? feel it needs a slipper clutch? not on a sp2 maybe a sp1 as i here they have some launching issues ? but no my bike is ok for the way i ride her ... altho i do like the idea of a sigma slipper clutch

Had a SP1, considering a SP2..

Wanted to love it but I couldn't get on with the front end and couldn't get the fuel delivery right even with a PC3.

These issues seem to have been resolved on the SP2.

The sp2 has a different front end they look the same ..

The Injection is a world apart from the sp1

the rear end is Hrc porn

What I will say is some ppl just don't gell with twins ;o

abba swing are removal tool.....

tested on my rvf 400 and i am pleased to say it was super stable ... i removed the swing arm and rear shock ... the stand made the job nice and easy :)
