NC35 Rear brake master cylinder interchangeability
Hi All,
Ooosh... is 'interchangeability' even a word??
My RVF project has been crashed on the RHS, causing damage to the rear brake master cylinder. This part is hard to come by. I was wondering if anyone knows whether the part is interchangeable with a VFR400? Or even any other old Hondas?
Thanks :)

Re: NC35 Rear brake master cylinder interchangeability
I think most Hondas of the era had the same sort of setup. The only major difference is whether or not the cylinder or the footpeg are threaded. The one I took off my NC35 had threads in the cylinder mounts, so you just thread the bolt in and it attaches to the peg. I got a CBR400 one, which was plain, so I had to stick a nut and washer on the end of the bolt to fit it. I'm certain the NC30 one will fit. The rebuild kit is the same part number, so it's the same size, and I'm pretty sure there are no significant differences. Otherwise I wouldn't have bought one as a spare for mine!
