3" Magtek on nc30?
Does anyone run a 3" magtek on their nc30? If so, do you run a 110/70 tyre? Does it work well?
Also, has anyone run a single front disk setup on a lightweight track bike? One of the fastest hawk gt racers in the states went back to a single 320mm disk as it was more than enough and saved 7lb over his 2 disk setup (140kg bike with 85hp) so figure it should be ok for 65hp

I have a 3" magtek and after doing some research a 120/70 is the best option

Do you not have problems with the 70 profile? Some people say it hits the mudguard?

Only if your forks are knackered, I've always run a 70 profile and the only time I've had trouble was a couple of weeks ago at cadwell where I wore a large hole through the v piece but my forks are well over due a service and in need of heavier springs

I also have a 3" rim and run the 110 on the front. I don't have problems, even on the track.

What about brake disks? Do the NSR disks have the same spacing or are some changes needed?

The NSR disks are fine to use, same dimensions as nc30 & 35.

As magteks seem to be rather hard to come by I have bought a 2.75 hrc mag from an early rs250 to match my 4x18 rear. I wont have the most grip but I hope it handles sweetly which is what i am after

The one on ebay the other day by any chance? Was very tempted to have that too.
