Rvf race bike build
Hey Guys my Rvf has been standing beat up in the garage for a wile due to a small tipple clamp snapping accident. I want to restore it in to a track bike for a bit of fun and would like to hear all your tips (carb jet sizes , suspension internals, removing quietning gears ect ) or minor things that should be done and have a few questions answered. First off my shocks are slightly bent are they totally screwed ? Second off i would like to know of any rims that would serve as a replacement front rim. If i think of any other questions il be sure to just post away.

Forks can often be straightened but cant recommend anyone in Cape Town. Hondas from that era such as cbrs and vfrs used the same 3.5x17 rim (on nc30 at least) so check them out.
For track bike loose as much weight as you can but keep starter, it makes life much easier. I would only take the scissor gears out if you are scimming the heads to take out the backlash.
