It depends on what you think is "worth it". Most companies from that era (Ethos, JHA, TSR) never offered a full system because they didn't think it was worth it to manufacture a full system. The front downpipes do a great job and the only reason I would go for a full system is to get rid of that shorty rear header.
So, for me personally, unless I can get a hold of a full system for about the same price as a half, I wouldn't bother. The money can be spent in other areas...like suspension, which for me is the best bang for the buck mod on these bikes.

'course it does misterHey guys and gals ! Does a full exhaust system (from tyga for example) offer that much power on an nc35?

Seriously, just check out any independent power graphs and all the best ones are from bikes that use a full system. The sort of power increase they show of 10 to 15% is very noticeable and apart from the cost, there is no trade off with reliability or tractability for example. The rear header manifold is highly restrictive on the stock exhaust and strange that Honda did it like that. I can only assume that they knew that racers would immediately junk it and put on a full system. (Thanks Honda for that; you helped our TYGA exhausts to be so successful :) )
Is it worth it? Only you can answer that but I am assuming you bough the bike for performance rather than as a cheap commuter. If so then more power = more fun

Where any other mods done on that bike Paul? 51 BHP from a standard bike is pretty bad which suggests that bike isnt very healthy to begin with, giving the carbs a good clean and changing the mains up to 116/118 would put that bike at 59bhp even with a standard exhaust.
2bhp for 700odd quid isnt worth it IMO if you only take the power into account, However the sound, lightness and looks are a different matter :D

The best way to test any power upgrade is on the same dyno with the same bike. Quoting your 59 and then comparing it with our 61 and then concluding you only get 2 horsepower... You should go into politics
Honda only ever claimed that amount at the crank.
We are in Thailand, where power is always a little down due to the climate and 53 is about all I've ever seen from a stock bike. We made sure the bike was running properly before any dyno runs ,like long before because it was our company test bike. We only messed with jetting to get the race pipe set up properly. No monkey business like finding a worn out bike and then comparing it with a freshly restored one... So please accept our figures at face value. I mean, we are damned if we do and damned it we don't. If we claim something without a graph then people quite rightly ask to see the proof. Then when the proof is there, it isn't accepted and numbers of 59 from a stocker are suddenly plucked out the air LOL. There are plently of dynographs on the net including this site which will back ours up so please don't take my word for it... S
Anyway, I stand by my original point, that you will get a very noticeable improvement in power so if you are serious about your bike's sports credentials, then a full system is something to consider seriously as a useful performance upgrade. Is it worth i? Well, I think going down the pub and getting pissed is a waste of money but a lot of people think it is a great way to get rid of their hard earned earnings. So only you can make that call :)

tygapaul, I must admit that in the beginning I did my fair share of bashing your company. That being said, and said to prove that I am not in your pocket
you made a claim and backed it with proof from a dyno. What more can people ask for? I didn't realize the gains over a full system were that much higher than only a half system.
