Hi guys iv got big problems with my race bike it's a 1990 nc29 and the front wheel is hitting the rad
Under hard braking. Is there any way round this iv got gf racing headers and a standard radiator at the moment.

Fork seals might be on their way out.
Check/service the forks.

Re: Nc29 front wheel hitting radiator
Iv heard of the problem before on race bikes but never heard people say fork seals.
Could it be my spring rating or to light oil

Re: Nc29 front wheel hitting radiator
is it definitely the tyre hitting the rad or is it the mudguard?
On my NC30 racebike I had to cut the rear of the mudguard as it could catch under full compression.
I'll guess you are running a taller 120/70 supercorsa too? 120/60 is standard (I think) and so factor that in too.
SO - chop the mudguard, check the tyre profile and the rad to see what is hitting - and if you need to stop it then you might have to adjust the forks in the yokes to get another couple mm.

Re: Nc29 front wheel hitting radiator
Thanks for the advise yes I'm running a 120/70/17 front and I'm dead sure it's the tyre as there is no marks on the mud guard. There is a fair but of fork sticking through so il try dropping it 10mm or so.
