Help: NC23 engine rattle (movie!)

My 1988 NC23 has started making a pretty bad rattle around 3000-3500RPM. I finally managed to record it:

Movie!

If any of you 400-gurus out there have any ideas what might be going, I'd appreciate it very much! :smile:

Your Video doesn't want to work on my phone. But this is a knackered starter clutch in mine if you wanna compare the noises

That's way worse than mine. ;) Mine sounds like piston slap or valve rattle. Definitely top end.
