uk nc30 frame vin plate

hi all
would anyone mind sending me a pic of the vin plate on the frame of the uk nc30 model..ive got a dent in my frame and would be able to cover it if I had one of these vin plates made..

So your trying to hide serious damage to a critical part of the bike to punt it on to an unknowing buyer? Being a bit of a dick doing that dont you think?

no im not being a dick nor am I punting it on mate..the frame has a small dent in it caused by it being damaged when something hit it or fell against the frame in the old guys garage who I bought it off..im stripping the bike and rebuilding it as mint rc30 replica..your very quick to jump to conclusions...

Is it legal to put a UK vin plate on a bike that is not a UK bike?

If you want to make a mint bike - get a mint frame to start from.

Mint is an overused word..and if you are cutting corners already on a dented frame...then I suspect* that there are other corners to be cut elsewhere.

no I don't want to be cutting corners anywere..I restore bikes as a hobby...ive been thinking of another frame as im taking the bike down to the frame anyway..just missed a mint frame with v5 on ebay...

couple of pics ofsome of my restorations..have restored lots of other bikes..just recently finished building this rd400 tz replica for a friend..

I bought this rare sdr200 Yamaha..had some spare time and repainted it in tz colours..then my intention was to strip and rebuild the bike over winter..had a guy from Switzerland offered me good money for it so that's were the bike is now..was delivered to him on Thursday...



here is a pic of my nc30..got it off an old guy..it was dropped on left side.broken gear lever and footrest..damaged headlight cowl and scratched side fairing.left switchgear and clutch lever
.was dropped very low speed on black ice coming out of a junction in first gear..he now owns a little Honda 125 shadow.have a full bodykit on order in rc30 colours..some nice extras on it..red hel front and rear brake lines..full stainless viper exhaust jetted to suit..had new tyres,gold chain and sprockets and front and rear brake pads,oil,filter and plugs less than 1000klms ago..





think he said it was some gardening thingy that fell against the frame and put the dent in it..

What are those rearsets on the NC30?

Love the restorations btw.

think they are stamped "O AND T" other than that I have no idea what the rearsets are..
maybe this pic will give you a better idea
