clutch install question!
Hi guy's i got my new clutch kit and i was wondering is it ok to use my old oil that i drained from my bike to soak the clutches in? i will be putting fresh oil in it but i want to just install them so when my engine covers come back from painting everything is ready to just bolt on and pour fresh oil? So is it ok or should i wait until i get fresh oil? And also 10-40 synth is it ok for my bike?

Re: clutch install question!
didnt think you still needed to pre-soak modern friction plates..
but if you did.. i dont see why soaking in old oil is any problem.
i use 10/40 semi bike oil for my NC29.
