CBR250 advice

I know I know I'm usually on the NC30 side but I have an opprtunity of a CBR250R MC19 going cheap and was wondering if anyone had owned or got any advice on what to look for. One of the valve seats needs to be recut as he has the head off at the moment. So advice if any welcome.

How cheap?

If properly cheap..do it. they are cool

Depends how cheap like Mark says.

Mc19 are nice

Mc22 are nicer

I know which bike it is and its stupidly cheap at £450 :O, just gutted i dont have the money for it myself

If it's cheap enough go for it. They are extremely popular in Australia, so parts shouldn't be a problem (although not particularly cheap).

I think I'll give it a punt lots of history and spares. Lots left on tyres, decent C&S, forks done recently, oil and filter included, pads to fit, new gasket set to replace head. What can go wrong? It's for my lad who wants to upgrade from his YZF r125 so a nice step if you don't mind me saying. Once he passes his driving test I'll be having it back in one piece hopefully!!

Well worth it mate, if you get it and ever sell it let me know. I might be in a more financial state by then :)

£450 is dirt cheap, go for it.
