NC30 Rear Disc OEM
Hiya all,
Figured I should get a new rear disc (as @ 0.2mm off min limit), whilst my rear is in bits ~ no wavey comments are required
Would prefer OEM but struggling to justify the steep price tag from David Silver (£95 + £7 p&p)

Rick Oliver has a pattern OEM for £36. Also Chinese stuff on eBay for similar price claiming to be OEM pattern but unsure if they are (obviously ones with wrong number of holes aren't).
A couple of questions,
1. Was OEM unit only produced in one colour (grey centre as url), or also in black to match bikes with black front centres?
2. Do the pattern OEM ones look identical and are they any good or false economy cos made of chocolate?
Welcome your experiences/advice, but half hoping that someone knows where to source an old stock OEM a bit cheaper or something
Cheers,

Re: NC30 Rear Disc OEM
I personally wouldn't be concerned at a pattern rear disc as it does stuff all on these bikes anyway, I'm sure it'd be up to the job.
As for looking identical to oem, it's probably anyone's guess when it comes to the variability of Chinese parts. Perhaps best to contact Rick for an honest answer or the Chinese seller for a gamble!

Thanks Cammo, I favour OEM but will have to wait as no money left, usual story, too many expensive hobbies!
Anyway, I have contacted RO for further details on the pattern ones. I was hoping that people who have bought them might share their opinions, b4 I am in position to purchase.
Cheers,
