head gasket thickness ?
hi
i have just taken the heads off my nc 24 to replace the head gaskets, i have the nc30 gaskets that are the same [ish]
however the gaskets on the 24 are a single layer but the 30 gaskets are 3 layer,
so my question is has some one fitted a single layer gasket to try and get higher compression or is it standard ?
thanks

Re: head gasket thickness ?
Came across this post while searching for the NC24 head gasket thickness. I have exactly the same question. The old head gasket is a single layer 0.25mm thick while the NC30 head gaskets I have are three layers with a total thickness of 0.4mm. Does anyone know the answer?
Thanks
Alan
