Donks 76a
Over the next few months or could be more I'm having another go around my gsxr 400 .my first go a couple off years ago I had it painted black which I liked but now a little im a little older I want it painted again in original colours I'm planning a few new bits ect a good clean up and the new paint with all the graphics done in air brush I've made a start with the purchase of a solo seat from Gavin at jap 4

Been having a mess about making a template for a new hanger to be made not finished yet

For the last few weeks I've been sanding all the rough cast bits out of the wheels and ground off all the suzuki writing ect of the spokes ready for powder coating and to make them a bit easier to clean. I've had them powder coated now with a new rear disc and new stainless disc bolts all round

Re: Donks 76a
Thanks mate . I'm having it like the rgv 250m colours the white bike with the three blue stripes they did a 76a in those colours . It took ages to find all the photos of a correct original bike and I had to buy a couple of original panels to get all the sizes and lines ect a mate of mine is friends with a man called piers dowell he's not far away from me I went to see him at his place and took a look at some of his work ... Well I've never seen anything like that kind of painting I just couldn't believe how someone can do stuff like that its amazing .check out some of his work http://www.piersdowell.com/

Re: Donks 76a
Slow progress at the moment due to family stuff I've managed to get some old bolts ect re plated . It's the first time I've done this and I'm shocked at how well they came out they were in bad shape a picture of about half of what I had done
a couple of pictures with the subframe painted and starting to get the back end back together. I've managed to source an original reflector bracket which I'm happy about its only a small part but hard to find

Wow, thats going to look amazing. Are they on original panels? If so, did you just give them the fairing and they did all the prep/paint/decal etc?
What other bits do you have planned for it? doesnt look like it needs much.
