NC23 Fuel pump alternatives?

Post by willpisme » Mon Apr 15, 2013 7:31 am

Hi, my fuel pump fried last night (smoke and everything!) Think the motor has completely gone after taking it apart and need to replace the whole pump.

Was just wondering what alternatives there are too the original pump?

Cheers
Will

I have heard that early cbr600 pumps fit as well as zxr400 pumps. I have not tried them myself so cannot confirm. Graeme France has some for £30 I think.

while trying to get my project bike running i found the fuel pump to be faulty, a mate had a crashed kawasaki zx6r in bits (i belive a g2 model), the fuel pumps looked the same, had the same emblem (mitsubishi like one iirc) and the same connector, plugged it in, fired it up, all good for about 6 months otr until taken off for further work to the project, please do some research if you go down this route as i foolishly didnt and didnt know of the great resource that is 400greybike, wouldnt want to feel responsible for any mishaps lol
