Timing chain tensioner installation GK76a
I've just finished painting the engine.......what a mammoth task! Anyway, took the tensioner off to clean it up and fitted it in what I thought was the obvious way. Pulled out the bung, screwdriver in the end and bolt on while the tension is off. On letting back the screw I noticed the chain did not tighten up and is cleary still loose. Any ideas what I'm missing guys?
