NC30 front fork oil seals
I am about to prepare my NC30 for this years riding season, so I will replace the seals as they appear to be original, as far as I can see from the old service records I have.
I see Dobles and Tippetts offer HRC seals, how do they differ from the standard Honda items?
Thanks.

Re: NC30 front fork oil seals
I have both Honda, and HRC seals now.
They appear to be the same, with the same part number and the HRC seal carries an MR8 part number.
The Honda seals come in a kit of dust and oil seal, the HRC just the oil seal.
Perhaps HRC don't specify using dust seals with their set up, so sell oil seals on their own.

Re: NC30 front fork oil seals
I asked this before. I have HRC seals kicking about and wondered what the difference was. The conclusion seemed to be bugger all dimensionally, but there was a minute difference somewhere that meant for road use they'd have to be approved or something like that, hence the big disclaimer on the packet they they're meant for the track. You can get road seals from Honda both as a set of oil and dust seals, or on their own (if you can find anyone with genuine dust seals these days).

That's my thoughts.arsey30 wrote: Perhaps HRC don't specify using dust seals with their set up, so sell oil seals on their own.
Most track bikes don't use dust seals.
