V4beermonster's "Nail project"
Hi guys & gals, well thought it was about time I got my act together and uploaded some pictures. Right heres how the story goes, i have my K reg nc30 which I love, sfter coming down from a TL1000R to a little 400, which is great fun and i can screw it eveywhere. A friend of mine said I know where theres 1 like yours !! After some pictures were sent to me awe agreed a price of £300. When Richards arrived in his van I opened the back doors and my heart sank! What a funking shed, nail, scrap!! so bike was dumped in the back garden for a month or so. After doing some research it turned out the bike was a CAT C right off, so i got in touch with the previous owner and got some history on the bike it turned out the bike was imported in march of 1989, brand new he had been running the bike as a commuter bike throughout the summer, and on 1 december 1989 morning whilst going to work he lost it through the bike down the road. It was then written off, and he bought it back with the intention of repairing it himself, but as with so many projects they get left, in this case for 20 summit years.

Re: V4beermonster's "Nail project"
so 1 sunday afternoon after thinking what should i do with the bike, 750 conversion?? nope too much work and cutting frames to fit engine in. so I started to strip it think will do a quick clean up then flog it..... but as i stripped it i could see there was no way i could turn it round for a quick profit, so bit the bullet and the "Nail project" began. stripped to component parts all the really rusty nuts, bolts, spindles ect ect went off for de-rusting, frame, swinging arm,sub frame ect went to the blasters/ powder coaters.

Re: V4beermonster's "Nail project"
the later forks, Ethos system, S1000RR shock all fitted in im waiting on the clip-ons,and screen brace from the powder coaters then can fully fit the front end. wheels are done just need tires! £££££ fit new chain and sprockets, build my calippers front and rear, once all these come together it will be MOT time. If all the bits were ready and cash was flowing freely then i think 2 days work and she'll be ready. will keep you posted as i go along Phil
