New to this so bare with me
Usual ride is a 998s (with 1038cc conversion but after an holed piston at cadwell soon to be a 1078cc)
Have had a J 91 CBR400RR outside under a bike cover for over 2yrs, any how drained old fuel put optimate on battery, fresh fuel and after about5 mins she started up like good un
So free off front clipers and clean rusty discs, side and lower of the body work had been removed, so replaced but have lost V peice (anyone got a spare)
The info I am looking for is, I want to replace fork oil, seams 10w is used but need to know what air gap measurement is used, 80kg rider what weight springs would you people suggest

Another question
Took out for a spin 80mph is 8K and managed a top speed of 125@12.5K(on private road) it's got Std gearing and wont pull to redline, so if I used a 14t front how much will speedo reading be out.
Spedo reads in MPH but oddometer and trip is in Kilometers, is there a mod to put trip to read Miles ?

mine does the same. the reason is due to it being fitted with a MPH face. to get the odo/trip to read in miles you need to remove the MPH face (sell it as they are sought after), re-fit the old KPH face and buy a manual converter that screws between the cable and speedo, then everything turns to miles.

however after 6years i am used to the odo/trip reading in klms. i get 220klm tank range before i go on to RES, but normally fill up around 200klms.
