Hi there! I have a 1996 CBR400RRL model.
Help! The sliders on the carburettors are not moving up all the way and start fluttering at a certain point. This happens on all 4 sliders all at the same time at around 7000 rpm or something roughly.
The bike has good compression, fuel and spark so possibly be an issue with air?
Any thoughts on what could be wrong?
I have thought about maybe pulser coils, throttle position sensor and ECU but I am unsure how any of these things could relate to the issue if someone could educate me I would be forever grateful.
Please let me know what you think, and ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Carburettor slider issues.

Re: Carburettor slider issues.
Sorry when I first got the bike the person I got it off had been in a minor accident, and was going to fighter the bike but didntt bother in the end. He has removed all fairings, speedo etc.
When I rode the bike it was very smooth and sounded lovely untill you got to a certain point in rev range then there was no smooth power delivery and felt like it was struggling/choking.
I checked:
Floats.
Diaphragms.
Play in sliders.
Jets.
Compression.
Coils.
Air filter.
Plugs
I do not know where to go from here, and I thought the fluttering of sliders had something to do with it

The bike does not have a speedo on it at the moment no.
However I did have the one that used to be on it, but I sold it! :/
