What indicators?
Changing to LED's purely because I have tyga original shape fairing which doesn't have holes for indicators and it's easier to just change to LED's
I have these for the front: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-Micro-Ind ... 2c665d5c43
but they will not suit the back, any suggestions? (i don't really like pointy arrow style ones)
Thanks

Re: What indicators?
If you supply OE indicators I can convert them to LED for you, £6 per corner plus return postage

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

Re: What indicators?
can you run standard back indicators with LED's on front as long as you stick resistors in front?
Thanks for the offer but is it not just a case of getting led bulbs and resistors to convert?

Re: What indicators?
You can do it that way if you prefer but some of my customers found the external resistor to have a huge heat issue. Also, because you are using just one large resistor the current to each individual LED is less than it needs to be for optimum brightness.

Re: What indicators?
Steve, do you have any pictures of what you do the the indicators to convert them to LED, what colour are they and how bright will they be.
It's not having what you want but wanting what you've got....Loud ,Proud and Modified ....

Re: What indicators?
How do these not work for the back indicators? I'm thinking of doing all 4 with these style (but black).thutchoo wrote:Changing to LED's purely because I have tyga original shape fairing which doesn't have holes for indicators and it's easier to just change to LED's

they are just too small and the bolts that are attached to them aren't big enough to fit through the rubber mounting grommet of the standard indicators
