How much hight adjustment in an adjustable rear shock
I will be going to a 17" rear on my NC30 and of course convention says "you need the NC35 suspension linkages" to restore the ride hight at the rear end.
I am quite happy to get a set of these if I need them, but I already have a Nitron rear shock to use...
like this......

....and looking on the Nitron Website (http://www.nitron.co.uk/shop/product/14 ... hock-2-way) it does state that the 'Track Shock" has Independent adjustable ride height.
I am just curious if this 'adjustable ride hight' would be suffiecient to negate the need for the NC35 linkages when swithing to the 17" wheel.
Anyone tried this - or any thoughts (or anyone got an NC35 linkage lying around?)

My ohlins has 15mm of adjustment. Personally I'd go for the rvf link aswell as I think the 30 squats as bit in stock trim so added height works well.
I might be taking a fully refrubed rvf link and dog bone off my 30 if your interested, never used just fitted up

I'd be interested in that link if ngreer doesn't want it.

You have it if you need it. Having a 35 means I already have one, I was just thinking about pre-empting the inevitable situation when I heave the old shock out and find the linkage has suspect seals or bearings by having a nice, fresh one to replace it with if necessary. Or just to do it anyway.... It's not like I need it to correct the geometry on mine.

I do this especially in the summer to avoid any riding down time
