Drilled fairings...cool or not?

Post by CMSMJ1 »

Image

I am looking to get mental and drill my fairings to allow more cooling air over and around the engine bay and also my currently side mounted oil cooler.

What do you reckon? Form or function? My fairings are not plastic OE so am not bothered about getting drill happy with them and I will likely to it to the track fairings first to see what it performs like.

Anyone got any other drilled fairing pics and any thoughts about whether it works or not?

LOL - I noticed that too...

Saying that my DT's are not so bad these days and I will tape the lines on and drill them properly..

I'm not sure about function wise, but think it would look really good if done properly.

I can see my no9 becoming a rothmans bike a la that pic. :ugeek:
Since I did my NR scheme and it was copied it seems like I was abused or fiddled...you know what I mean? :Puke:

Where did you get the pic from?

Is it an NC30 with NC35 forks? That front looks like NC30, maybe home made single head light conversion?. It looks pretty good either way.
