CB1 Problem HELP
Hey lads
big prob with my cb1.
it wont rev to its full capacity. when in neutral and give it beans it hits the rev limiter at 10,000 rpm. in each gear its the same deal hits the rpm limiter goes bop bop bop at 10k. it should rev higher. anyone know know what the problem is???
its a 1990 cb1. has kilometres on the clock so presume its jap but it says cb400f on the little tag under the seat

Evening,er sounds like u say u are bouncing it off the rev limiter ,not sure of its red line prob not best way to test for problem maybe take it out for a blat and see how it goes through the gears and note probs as it goes through rev range, the bike may still be restricted to the jap home limit of 112mph it may need to be deresticted , it may be inside the clocks there are some useful write ups on the form for this cheers c,
