Re: K8 rear shock for my GK76a?
Hi,
All k serie`s shocks will fit, some are a straight fit(k9) others need a small mod on the lower arm(Gavsta did a step by step).look at my posts or do a search.
Simple job though....

Modern shocks are using new technology.
If you want a little more info look at the ohlins website as it lists shock lengths for comparison.
There are some differences in shock lengths, think the earlier k2/3 etc are very long, think the 08 is best and even newer have a different lower fitment.

ALL K series GSXR shocks will fit, ie: 2001 onwards. Some are direct but some require linkage modification.
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
