my regulator blew the other day taking both my headlight bulbs out.
so not only did I get stiffed for a new regulator but both headlight bulbs at £17 bloody quid a piece!
not looking to get ar*e raped again in the near future.
anybody managed any sort of mod to fit h4's as this would offer both better prices and more lighting options?
muchos grumpy

If you have an 3EN2, get a set of headlights from a EU FZR1000 89/90. Exactly the same and you can fit H4

No, there are 2 types of fzr 600 lights. The 93 on model has just one "paralever" as you call it ( didnt know it was called that) and the earlier ones (1992) are a conventional headlamp which has a sidelight in it (93 on had a seperate sidelight above the main light). I have a 93 FZR600 with the 92 light fitted. It cost £5.

Paralever are the 3tj type I thing the lens or bulb move in order to focus the lights. Like the small endurance race lamps

okay, think it must be the lens that moves then because the bulb is definately fixed position.
I've been looking at this today with a view to knocking up some sort of an adaptor that will let me run h4's without changing the original light unit.
this will give me the option of running 60/55w if I want and give me a good selection of quality bulbs
also should I have a bulb go in future I can easily get a replacement at pretty much any garage for about £4 rather than having to order them in special, wait days for them to turn up and get wallet raped when they arrive!!
