GK73A parts sourcing
Hi all so I recently bought myself a 1988 gk73a for 700 quid only to find, upon picking it up that the paint work is awful and the bike needed a lot doing to it!
- new mirrors
- replacement shock
- replacement radiator and pipes
- new headers
- rear seat lock
- chain and sprocket set
- drive chain
- body work is shit
- a lot more
I ended up paying £400 for it with 3 locks, an out door cover, paddock stands, a years mot (god knows how) and an extra set of wheels with new battleaxe tyres.
I've sourced most of this but am struggling with the rear shock, I understand that the gk76a won't fit but you can mod a Gsxr 600 k6-k7 to fit or buy a nitro rear shock but they are nearly £400!
I you ave any recommendations and what would you suggest for the chain and profit set?

Re: GK73A parts sourcing
Im running one of the Ek chains and can recommend it, loads cheaper than DiD.
I think ive got a gk73a SP rear shock somewhere if you need one.
