VFR NC30 decal

Hi, i wondering does anyone know why there are two different VFR decals on the sides of the type 3 NC30.

for example mine has the same as the haynes manual, which is smaller

here are the two decals (althouggh different colours) the major differences are the size and the shape of the V

any information would be helpful, was wondering if this decal is only japanese models.

I'm guessing the bike on the cover of the haynes has a non-original sticker.

UK bikes also came in the type 3 scheme, but I doubt something small like a decal would be changed from the Japanese market machine.

Just went to look it up on the parts list here but the type 3 scheme isn't listed: http://www.akhara.com/nc30/nc30parts/index.htm

ok, but theres also more differences, these pictures are from the brochures.

as you can see on one, the red extents in a straight below the nose were as on the other it doesn't.

Good eye for detail, I've never noticed. The top brochure is a uk market bike (same paint scheme as the japanese market type 3).

The bottom brochure is the german/french market bike which uses a different front cowl to accommodate the larger headlights used in these markets (pics below), it looks like the paint line has been moved to allow for the different contour.
