Wiring loom
Please could anyone tell me what has gone on here. I bought a loom off Riley ages ago and thought I'd have a look at it and noticed a couple of obvious things. There is a black 3 pin plug on the loom which feeds off not far from the reg rec plug. And attached to this was a cylindrical component. Also the clearish plug has been opened up and it looks like it's been brough back on itself inside. Please see pic just incase I'm waffling

Nope its not far enough back, its not the flasher relay. Thanks for the answer. I may have to lift the seat unit off and follow the loom on the bike tomorrow, But it don't tell me what the thing plugged into it is.

Re: Wiring loom
3 pin black plug in the pic is for the rear running and brake lights sits on the LHS with the indicator plug and 2 cdi plugs.

Re: Wiring loom
OK thanks for this but I'm puzzled into why this round thing would have been plugged into the tail light socket?

Re: Wiring loom
OK today went in the garage as this was puzzling me took off the seat unit unplugged tail light (obviously) and plugged it in thinking it may glow or something with the lights on. I then noticed the flasher relay had the same plug so connected it up waiting now for it to blow my bulbs or something and it slowed down my flasher. (just for another look as he went past too fast the last time!!)
Have you guys come across this before or anything that looks like it?
