nc 30 gearbox problems
Just back from a great days racing at Bishopscourt.
I had to pull in on the second race it seems i've a gearbox problem.
It was running ok then i couldn't change up the gears so had to pull in. Once the race was over i rode back to pits and it was changing ok.
Any thoughts on what i need to do now? I think for now i'll check the linkages and put fresh oil in.
Is there a likely easy fix?
I'm guessing its a engine strip

Re: nc 30 gearbox problems
I had the same problem on my road bike. This may sound silly, but it was what was the cause of mine. Make sure the the dot on the linkage is aligned with the dot on the gear selector shaft.
Then also check that the footpeg isn't over torqued, and that when you shift up, the pedal returns to the original position, before the shift. Mine being slightly to tight, meant it wouldn't return, and I could only get 1st, 2nd, and sometimes 3rd!

Ok Sam i'll check the linkages again but i'm pretty sure its a problem in the gearbox.
Just wanted to know if anyone would have an idea of what it may be.
