Oil Change.

Post by Phil_Norwich »

Probably a stupid question and I was just having a bad day cos I've done oil changes on my NC30 before.

Anyway I attempted to do an oil change today but I couldn't get a socket of the sump plug for the life of me. The exhaust was in the way. Any tips for when your doing an oil change? I tried moving the exhaust but it didn't seem to help much.

Thanks in advance.

I just make improvised cardboard funnel so the oil doesn't piss all over the exhaust, throw it out afterwards, job jobbed..

I just put a tub underneath let it all drain out and wipe the exhausts :)

Cheers Sam. Didn't even think about using a spanner, clearly having a bad day! Pretty sure I've got a 17mm in the garage somewhere. If not I'll give you a shout. Cheers.
