4DX CDI on a 3TJ bike??
I have managed to pick up a spare 4DX CDI for very reasonable money, will this work on my 3TJ bike? Bike has a standard 3TJ loom with M-Max box. All the connectors *look* the same.

Yes if it's a standard 4DX CDI it should be plug and play.
Not sure what BDK would have done to it though, usually they have a different ignition curve and the speed restriction removed. Speed restriction removal can also take the reserve fuel away too.
You should be able to unplug the M-Max box with no ill effects
