Help! - Rear wheel seized!
So I finally got a paddock stand, and thought I'd start taking my bike apart properly (as you do).
I get to the rear wheel, take off the wheel nut + spacer etc, pull the wheel... won't budge, at all. I'm leaving it over night with some penetrating spray around the hub, just wondering if you guys have any tips?
Thanks!

Any chance you could link me to it? Or tell me what the thread was called? You've posted in a lot of threads lately so it's bloody hard to find.

No good just pulling the wheel....it'll be wedged on the four locating pegs...just get a hammer and a piece of wood and keep tapping round the wheel/tyre on the chain side...it'll budge eventually

Re: Help! - Rear wheel seized!
I used a large bearing puller and put wood blocks behind it to ease the pain. Worked a treat.

I second the bearing puller, worked a treat as it was well and truly siezed on. Gave the axle a good rub down once I got it off and a liberal coating of copper slip.

Go for a ride with the wheel nut of, itll definatley come off, followed by yourself lol,
on a serious note, i used a piece of 1ft long 2x4 timber and a lump hammer on the rim lay it flat and twated at, quarters and rotated until it popped off.
