another fzr400/600 question
well the motors bolted in the rads on as well as the motad stainless system i picked up off of e-bay so im well on the way but i have a little problem.how do you make the oil level sender switch work as the 3tj level switch is at the right hand side of the engine and the 600 is underneath.when i connect the oil level switch up it wont work but if i earth it out on the motor or the frame it comes on(when the ignition is on)the level switch is in a block connector with the neutral switch which works as it should as do all the other electrics any ideas guys,im not too worried as i check my oil every ride anyway and it wouldnt be a disaster if it wont work but it would be nice to have it working as it should.the airbox (standard 400) has been modded to fit under the tank but im going to run it without the intake snorkel as the 600 airbox which def wont fit(i bought one to look at) has a much larger volume and obviously flows more air, with a bracket across where the filter sits to keep it sealed and in place.i also picked up a factory pro needle and jet kit to help the motor breathe more easily.by the way if you turn the right hand radiator hose round, the way it bends round is nearly perfect to muont up the the 600 thermostat housing you will just need a small extension of pipe and an adaptor-will ther be any 3tjs left with 400 engines in by the end of the year?

I have a 3EN2 with a 3HE engine. It all plugged right in, just had to bodge a bracket for the 600 rad. :)

Re: another fzr400/600 question
I had this problem on my conversion. I seem to think the 4jh plug for the neutral and oil sender are the opposite colours. Simply swap them, the plugs are the same!
