NC30 Top yoke removal

Is it possible to remove the top yoke to get the clip ons off?
I have a Haynes manual but im having trouble finding how to do it and if it requires lifting the bike?

Undo the pinch bolts, the top yoke nut then its free to come off. You may have to wiggle it or tap it with a hammer.
