NC30 bar conversion?
I want to make my NC30 more comfortable to ride, and was thinking about ways to convert the yoke/bars for a more upright position ( like a bandit or something ).
I had an idea to drill the top yoke
Add clamps ( for example ):
And add handlebars from there
1. would this be safe?
2. the upper fairing bracket ( for mirrors ) is quite a closed space, will this interfere?
Amateur modder here so ideas and suggestions would be much appreciated :)

Buy a CB400 super four 
Na seriously i cant see it working, space is tight as it is with clipon clearance and adding those is sure to cause problems. We just coverted a SV650 of a mates back to normal setup from one of these conversions and you wouldnt belive how much had to be changed to get it back to normal. Its really not worth it IMO, it cocked up the handling, you couldnt see jack out the mirrors, steering lock didnt work, the clutch lever hit the nose cone on full lock and the preload adjusters had been ground down

VFR wins everytime

Jeez does sound a bit much, I really do love my VFR but i like to go for long rides; my wrists get nackered

Classic sports bike problem.
If you want to go for long rides then a sporty tourer is probably a better option.
Fitting some kind of high riser like that (presuming you can get the bars to not break the mirror stay (or remove it / mod it)
You'll need to increase the length of the brake hoses, the length of all the wires for the switch gear (hopefully they'll all fit on your new bars else you'll need appropriate switchgear and throttle grip, not the end of the world but more ball ache.
You'll also need longer throttle and clutch cables.
It's a PITA when you actually start to do it.
Not difficult but time consuming to make everything longer.. if you want to do it the 'proper-way' (to make it removable then the best way is to get a spare loom so you have the appropriate female and male connectors to fit the switch gear (its' often impossible to get the honda ones from 3d partys)
With the spare looom and plugs you can make patch leads to plug in and extend any wires that don't reach, this way it's all removable.
If you cut and solder extensions on you'll have extra wire left if you want to put it back to stock.

Theres a trick to ride it I have found if u hold on mega tight and put a lot of weight through your wrists then you will get pains but i now just lightly place my hands on the clip-ons and put more weight onto the seat then bars then it's such easier on your arms
